"Are YOU from Girls State?"
Our 2024 Session will run
Tuesday, June 25 - Sunday, June 30
at Sacramento State University.
Each Delegate is an 11th grade student during the
2023-24 school year and is selected and sponsored
by an American Legion Auxiliary Unit.
An ALA Unit can sponsor any number of Delegates,
but there can be only one Delegate per high school;
Units can sponsor Delegates from more than one school.
ALA Unit Girls State Chairpersons work with school staff
to select a Delegate, 1st Alternate, and 2nd Alternate.
