• Girls State is a one-week training in the practical process of self-government and good citizenship as practiced in a democratic society
• A Girls State Handbook is a 3-pronged folder containing approximately 70 pages relating to the program including the daily schedule and procedures
• Quarter-page ads costing $50 each provide opportunities for family, friends, communities, and businesses to show their support of the 500 attendees
• Those placing an ad may include logos and content

Ads

• Ads can include both black text and grayscale images.
• A quarter page measures 2.3 inches high by 6.5 inches wide. See samples above.
• Lay out your ad with text and graphics exactly as you wish them to appear.
• MSWord is the preferred file format for text submissions and JPEG is the preferred file format for all images.
• Use this MSWord2007 ad template or MSWord97-2003 ad template to get you started.
• Ads must be submitted electronically by email to lou.thompson@sbcglobal.net
• Deadline for ad submission is April 20, 2012.
• Final proof agreement and payment due May 15, 2012.

Limitations

• Advertiser must agree to allow CAGS to edit advertising proof so that it fits within size constraints and includes appropriate language.

• Each ¼ page (full page is a standard 8 ½ x 11) ad cost is $50.
